During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the fantastic location of this mountain hotel. The stunning views from the balconies were breathtaking, and the hotel was perfectly situated for 'Hut to Hut' hikes. The restaurant was cozy and served delicious meals, including a plentiful breakfast buffet. I especially enjoyed the option to pack a bagged lunch for my hikes, which was very convenient. the self-serve bar, open almost all the time, was a great bonus.
Although my overall experience was positive, there were a few drawbacks. The bed in my room was quite uncomfortable, which was a bit disappointing.

Fantastic location for 'Hut to Hut' hikes, with beautiful and quiet surroundings high up in the mountains. the restaurant offers delicious meals and a plentiful breakfast buffet. It's great that you can prepare a bagged lunch to take on your hikes. the self-serve bar is open almost all the time, which is very handy. the rooms are comfortable, simple, and clean. the balconies with fold-up tables and chairs have spectacular views.
The bathrooms are small and you have to bring your own soap, etc. Although the rooms are comfortable, our bed was very uncomfortable.
